A new church has successfully been planted in Surprise, Arizona! A group from the Central Baptist Church and New England Baptist College made a trip out to Arizona November 2.

The trip was an endeavor to help Pastor Tony Bulawa plant a church in the metro-Phoenix area.Brother Bulawa, a veteran missionary to Toronto, and his family moved out to Phoenix several months earlier to initiate the preparatory work for starting Mountain Side Baptist Church. The Bulawa’s have been working with Bro. Dave Crichton, fellow Phoenix-area church planter, for the past few months. The team, along with a church group from Medina, New York, knocked on doors and presented the gospel on the days preceding the Sunday services. Sunday services will be held in a banquet hall at a local hotel and Wednesday service take place in the Bulawa’s home. At the first service, 53 were present with 18 from the community. One soul was saved during the first service. Praise God for the work started in Surprise. Please continue to pray with us that more seeds will be planted and fruit will grow.
