New Church Plant in Leesburg, Virginia
Barnabas comes from a strong Christian family and Barney has joined several relatives into full time ministry. Elizabeth grew up in a Church planter’s home and was well aware of the special challengers of their new ministry. The young couple spent about a year on deputation raising temporary support and six months of intense preparation prior to the first service. The church has already established a core of people and is building a strong soul-winning church in the growing area. Loudon County Virginia is one of the fastest growing counties in America. Loudon County is within the greater Washington D.C. area and in spite of its high cost of living The Schwanke’s determined this was the place of God’s leading. The church is now running about 70 people in the morning and in the 40’s for the evening service. This church is a good example of doing it right.
Faithway Baptist Church

On March 16th 2008, Faithway Baptist Church held her Grand Opening Celebration. God blessed with 131 people in attendance for this big day. Approximately 90 of those attending were from the area. Pastor Mike Edwards and the good people of Heritage Baptist Church helped to reproduce this church.
